The 2019 Water Protector Award for service and leadership has been awarded to Armand Micheline.

The Water Protector Award is given to individuals or organizations that show exceptional leadership in protection of LFPWD’s drinking water.

Armand is a founding member of the LFPWD Advisory Committee (ADCOM) and has been involved in public communication and community outreach subcommittees. Armand has also been a driving force providing LFPWD science curriculum to local elementary schools to educate about aquifers, drinking water and how human activity can potentially affect drinking water.
