Lake Forest Park Water District is honored to present the 2018 ‘Water Protector Award’ to Lake Forest Park Water District Commissioner member Eli Zehner, a Lake Forest Park resident for ‘Exemplary Professionalism and Leadership’.
The Water Protector Award is awarded to individuals and organizations that show exceptional leadership in protection of LFPWD’s drinking water source. Eli Zehner has been a LFPWD commissioner since 2011 and his experience as a Civil Engineer with CHS Engineers LLC and has provided valuable professional presence on the Board.
Eli has proven a diligent caretaker of the District’s water source. Taking a lead role in support for District staff professional development, participating in recent security meetings with federal agencies, tracking potential regulatory changes rule changes to ground water sources. His support of the community water system is reflected in the many hours he has spent in support of our drinking water.
