Letter of Notification
April 2, 2015
Dear Resident:
In our effort to provide the safest, purest water to our customers, the District is holding another public meeting (this time in the evening) to help develop a Wellhead Protection Area (WHPA) Plan in accordance with State law. You are receiving this letter because our maps show that you reside in an area where water percolates through the soil to supply the aquifer for our community drinking-water wells or you may be a customer of the District. In either case we encourage you to participate in this important process.

Time and place for this meeting are:
Monday, April 13, at 7:00 pm
Shoreline Conf. Center – Ballinger Room MAP
18560 1st Ave NE Shoreline WA 98155
Phone (206)-393-4122
Our engineer will present information about the aquifer and we will open discussion to many practical ways that we each can help protect our pristine water supply from contamination. There will be light snacks provided and we also welcome your ideas.
We are very fortunate to have a very good supply of naturally pure water that has supplied our community for over 100 years! We would like to keep it that way as a lasting legacy for those that come along after us. Please plan to attend this important meeting to share your ideas and find out ways that you can assist in preserving this pristine water source for the Lake Forest Park community. If you have any questions before that time, please feel free to contact District staff between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm daily at (206) 365-3211.
Sincerely,
Alan Kerley, General Manager, Lake Forest Park Water District
